Artisanal Colomba Pistachio Gift Set by Angelo Inglima

This Colomba is unlike any other you’ve ever tasted. Starting with the “lievito madre” or “mother” sourdough with a minimum 36-hour slow fermentation process, this buttery, rich naturally leavened sourdough is further enhanced with Sicilian pistachio paste from Favara, Sicily in the “impasto” or dough.
Making this Colomba unique are the wonderful ingredients sourced from Italy and US from butter and eggs from farms in Upstate New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, and flour and pistachio from Italy and Sicily, as well as not containing preservatives.
A jar of pistachio cream included in the gift set is made in Angelo Inglima’s Pastry Shop in Canicatti, Sicily who also was the proud recipient of the 2025 Gambero Rosso Award for the Best Artisanal Panettone.

Ingredients:
Colomba:
soft wheat flour, butter, sugar, fresh eggs, white chocolate glaze 10% (sugar, powdered whole milk, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin, vanilla extract), gianduja chocolate 6% (sugar, hazelnut paste, cocoa butter, cacao paste, emulsifier: soy lecithin, vanilla extract) fresh egg yolk, natural yeast (contains wheat), Sicilian honey, inverted sugar, Manetti (2%) (mannitol, manna 30%), Manna paste 2% (glucose-fructose syrup, pulverized purified manna 25%, (mannitol, manna 30%) natural flavor), emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, cocoa butter, powdered skim milk, salt and natural vanilla flavor.
Manna and Hazelnut Creme:
vegetable oils and fats (sunflower oil cocoa butter and safflower), white cane sugar, powdered mannite with manna(13.5%) (mannite, manna 30%), maltitol , powdered skim milk, hazelnuts, whey protein, low fat cocoa-powder, safflower extract powder, emulsifier : soy lecithin, natural flavors.
