Starting with the “lievito madre” or “mother” sourdough with a minimum 36-hour slow fermentation process, this classic colomba is made with flour from Italy, semi- candied oranges macerated in Sicilian Malvasia wine, and wildflower honey from Sicily. Inglima also sources are the best local ingredients, like butter and eggs from farms in Upstate New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. The quality, freshness and pillow like Colomba, just as their panettone is something truly special.
