Organic "Maiorca" Flour by Terre di Entella - finely -ground ancient grain wheat
This ancient soft wheat varietal called Maiorca— grown in the heart of Sicily. This highly prized, ancient Sicilian soft wheat flour is known for its delicate texture and aroma. Ancient grain flours such as this also come with the benefit of being better for us as it’s known for being easily digestible to the gluten sensitive. The finely ground texture or type one is ideal for the preparation of many baked goods, both sweet and savory-breads, pasta and pastry. Maiorca flour was also the basis for the original quintessential Sicilian dessert— the cannolo.
